Client: Research Division of FTSE 100 Company When the head of the R&D Division of a FTSE 100 company (Non-Disclosure Agreement in place) asked Magela if they could help with the requirement outlined above, the natural person to do this was Paul Basan. With a PhD in Geology, successful careers in research and business management, Paul knows this issue well. He developed and ran a two-day Technical Report Writing course where participants worked on case study material from the company and themselves. Although slanted towards technical reports the course also covered general writing skills, as a number of the participants were not native English speakers. Comments included:
Consultants: Dr Paul Basan
'I had not understood how difficult some of my reports were to interpret before coming on this course. Thankfully, having learnt the key principles and techniques from Paul I now feel much more confident that my reports will be understood'
