We observe that most organisations now rely on fewer senior managers, asking them to do more, at a faster pace and at higher risk. Time available for reflection, problem solving, planning and career development is extremely limited. Coaching, on a one-to-one or team basis, is one of the most effective ways of addressing this.

Since 1989 our coaches have worked with dozens of senior managers from a wide variety of organisations, helping refine the complex set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that they need to achieve business results. This often results in a marked transformation in their approach, relationships and performance.

More recently we have run some Action Learning Sets for managers in facilitated peer groupings. Operating as a clinic for addressing current, practical issues, this process enables managers to draw on experience already in the organisation, form highly productive relationships with each other and develop coaching skills - all at the same time!

All Magela coaches are former senior managers or Directors, have completed accredited coaching programmes, are qualified Practitioners in NLP (a form of psychology used to enable people to develop their full potential) and are in regular supervision.

Coaching Supervision: It is increasingly recognised by clients and coaches alike that supervision is an indispensible and necessary part of good professional practice. Matthew Last is a qualified Coach Supervisor and has over fifteen years’ coaching experience in organisations. He offers supervision on both a one-to-one and group basis, by phone or face to face.
