Matthew LastMatthew’s background is in small business start up and business development. He founded Magela in 1989 and since then has been in constant demand as a facilitator, consultant, coach, university lecturer, trainer and non-executive Director. Clients use Matthew where they need a robust, strategic approach together with change management skills as applied to individuals and team relationships. He is also a specialist in business development for R&D/technical organisations, a has been a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University and a Visiting Lecturer at other Universities.

As both facilitator and coach, our clients value her for her incisive thinking, clear methodologies and perceptive insights, based on ten years senior management experience in the private and voluntary sectors (KPMG, Business in the Community, VSO and the Commission on the Future of the Voluntary Sector). Ian Hunt
Ian HuntIan is a specialist in organisational change and in the alignment of new strategies with organisational structure, processes, competences, IT and governance. He has managed projects and advised over 40 organisations in the UK, Europe, America, the Far East and Australia. These have included Xerox, Boots, Capita, BP, Royal Doulton and Tesco. In the public sector he has worked with the MOD, Metropolitan Police, OECD (Paris) and the Australian Government. As well as designing new structures and processes Ian is heavily involved in implementation and is a skilled facilitator.

Jenny Field
Following a career spanning 15 years as HR Director at executive board level within Cancer Research UK, Notting Hill Housing Group and Look Ahead Housing & Care, Jenny specialises in delivering programmes for organisational, team and leadership development. These involve design, needs analysis through 360 degree feedback or profiling tools, facilitation of workshops and one to one coaching. Clients rate her for the focus, clarity and integrity that she brings to all her work.

Chris Markiewicz
Chris MarkiewiczChris is a highly experienced trainer, facilitator and coach. During his 17 years as a practitioner, he has worked with over 20,000 individuals in more than 100 organisations in the UK, Europe and Africa.. His background is in sales and management with Reed Business Publications, although he is just as likely to be working with you in areas such as assertiveness, dealing with “difficult” people and conflict resolution. If you have attended a programme run by Chris you will remember it for its energy, commitment, laughs and learning. He also holds a certificate in coaching and specialises in telephone coaching where he works in a challenging yet sensitive and intuitive way to help people move forward in their lives and careers.

Hilary Jeanes
Hilary JeanesAs former Executive Director of HR for Northamptonshire and the London Borough of Ealing and with senior HR management experience at Cambridge City and Elf UK plc, Hilary is brought in to sort things out. Her skill is to look at an HR function and make it fit for purpose, with the active support of the senior leadership team. She brings strategic perspective and rigour, alongside a strongly supportive and developmental approach. She is a trained coach and experienced in the use of assessment tools such as Myers Briggs.
