One answer to the challenge of engaging the senior team in a new leadership development programme is to use assessment tools such as 360 degree feedback, Myers Briggs, Belbin and Team Effectiveness Profiles.

These provide ‘data’ and feedstock on both individual and team needs as well as providing before/after measuring points. Client feedback shows that our most successful leadership and management development programmes have been built on these foundations. We define success as tangible individual, team and business improvements.

Another approach is to build the capacity of the HR function to respond to the changing pressures and demands of the business and to lead organisational change programmes.
